FAQ

Our Centre Management have informed us that we need to do a new shopfit. Where do we start?

The first step is to have a design drawn for your new fit-out. You need to engage the services of a designer or architect to do this for you. They will measure up your tenancy and discuss design options with you.

Once you have a design you can e-mail or post this to us and we can prepare a price for you.

If you would like the name and contact details of some designers please visit our links page.

How much will it cost to re-fit my shop?

This will largely depend on the design you have.

If you have a strict budget for your fit-out it is a good idea to tell your architect or designer to come up with a design to suit your budget. Be up front about how much you intend to spend. If you give the designer no budget they may design something you cannot afford to have produced.

What do the Winkle Group take care of?

Everything! First we will provide you with a quotation based on your plans and design.

From acceptance of the quotation we will manage the entire project for you. This includes engaging and managing all trades and suppliers associated with your job. Including some or all of the following:

  • Private Certification
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • Signage
  • Flooring
  • Refrigeration
  • Furnishng
  • Lighting

How long will it take to re-fit my shop?

The time frame to complete a shopfit can vary depending on the size of shop and accessibility.

If your shop is in a centre, there may be restrictions on working hours. Often Centre Management's will require work to take place outside of trading hours.

Once we view your plans we can determine a time frame to fit out your outlet.

You will be provided with a schedule and timeline of works prior to the commencement of your fitout.

Do the Winkle Group work outside of Adelaide?

Yes! The Winkle Group have completed work in most states of Australia.

We have the resources and ability to transport joinery anywhere in Australia at a competitive price.

Our staff travel to site to complete the installation and project manage all the trades.

Please contact us to discuss your shopfitting requirements further.

I only have minor works to do in my shop. Can you help me?

Yes we can. The best approach is to get a design for the work you require. It may be a counter or a display cabinet you need. If you have measurements to suit the design we can custom make whatever it is you require!

Do you take care of the necessary council approvals?

Yes we do. We engage the services of a Private Certifier to negotiate the approvals you require. This speeds up the process and allows you to relax and let us take care of all the details for you.

Do you sell second hand shopfittings?

No we don't.

We only custom make joinery to suit our client's individual needs.

I am looking for some racks and shelving for my shop. Where can I find this?

Visual merchandising suppliers such as Mei & Picci and Display Design can help you with these requirements.
